By the Numbers: The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles
A view of L.A. Live
SoCal's third Ritz-Carlton hotel has just opened its doors, bringing a dose of sophistication to downtown’s L.A. Live complex. Part 123-room hotel and part luxury residence, the hotel occupies the top half of the 54-story, LEED-certified, blue-and-silver glass tower with the J.W. Marriott at its base. We put together a floor-by-floor crib sheet to give you an idea of what's inside.
Ground Floor: Step onto the private elevator, reserved exclusively for Ritz-Carlton guests and residents, to enter the hotel's 23rd-floor lobby.
2nd Floor: An 8,000 square foot Ritz-Carlton Spa will provide a full range of services to guests.
23rd Floor: The Club Lounge check-in area for Ritz Carlton guests shares the floor with a separate boardroom for business meetings.
24th Floor: Wolfgang Puck’s WP24 restaurant, headed by former Spago chef David McIntyre, will encompass a lobby lounge, private dining room and a wine cave with panoramic city views.
26th Floor: After working out at the hotel's fitness facility, guests can reward themselves at the adjacent rooftop pool and bar.
27th-54th Floors: The rest of the building has been reserved for the Ritz-Carlton Residences including downtown L.A.’s most expensive penthouse, which sold for for $9,000,000.
